We hosted a private dinning event here for our wedding rehearsal dinner on August 25 2023 ~30 people . The food and atmosphere was perfect, the owner Tanya was so responsive in helping us select our event menu and our beverage selection. I couldn't recommend this restaurant enough for a planning a larger family function. Our server Kelly did a lovely job taking care of everyone. I personally had the Rombo halibut dish for my entree and it was excellent. The blue berry take on tiramisu also received high marks from myself and everyone who tried it. Our welcome margarita... Wow, it was spectacular, many commented that it was best they have ever had, including some who have gone to finer Mexica...
fine dining with a cozy atmosphere in a beautiful historical building on the ufer halifax. over a huge, paid public parking. we ordered parpadelle and ravioli. they were delicious. pasta were al dente. general portions, but light on magen. large take on sauce with cape, eggplants, oils and san marzano tomaten in parpadelle. finished dish with tiramisu and dulce leche crème brûlée. the server has refilled our glasses with the bottle champagne we had ordered during the evening meal. a pleasant sat evening spent my short visit to halifax.
the service is excellent, there are parking spaces on the road and they can be there from most hotels to foot. a weelist with a wee to fit most budgets. they are very on allergies. the pasta is excellent, the fish good, but it is better. in the city. best to stay on the traditional Italian tariff and they will not be disappointed.
