Nach meinem letzten Besuch nach längerer Zeit einmal wieder, muss ich meine letzte Bewertung, die sich noch auf das letzte Jahr bezog, noch einmal korrigieren. Das Da Piero erscheint mir tatsächlich nochmal eine Klasse besser, als andere, auch wirklich gute Italiener, die ich aus der Region Braunschweig, Wolfsburg kenne. Die gesamte Gruppe an Freunden, mit denen wir dort waren, war überaus zufrieden - nur der Espresso war für meinen Geschmack sehr bitter, aber gut, who cares. Deshalb insgesamt die volle Punktzahl für ein qualitativ wirklich tolles Essen, auch im Vergleich zu anderen Italienern, die mit 4 Punkten bewertet wurden, ist das eine verdiente Bewertung - weiter so! Extra auf Empfehlung aus Wolfsburg gekommen und wurden nicht enttäuscht.Das Steak war hervorragend, der Hauswein hat ideal zum Fleisch gepasst, meine Freundin hatte die Linguini mit wolfsbarsch und Gamberi und war obwohl Sie kein großer Fan von Fisch ist, absolut zufrieden.Es wird vll 1€ mehr gezahlt, aber dafür sind die Portionen ausreichend und der Service Top.
This is one of the best restaurants in Braunschweig and I highly recommend the drive to the outskirts of the city for an authentic Italian dinner experience. Great wine selection, service and Italian classics. Can't go wrong with the linguini with shrimp or truffles. Definitely coming back for a quite and relaxing dinner atmosphere.
