Ristorante pizzeria che fa del nome italiano (e che nome) il suo biglietto da visita, situato in uno degli snodi principali di Berna. Ho cenato all'aperto nel mese di agosto e devo dire di essere rimasto abbastanza soddisfatto: solitamente i ristoranti stranieri di italiano hanno solo il nome e finiscono sempre per tradire il Belpaese e le sue tradizioni, ma qui ho trovato del buon cibo e del personale multilingue veloce e cordiale. Pizza sottile, abbondante e buona, dolci ottimi e caffè gradevole, il tutto impreziosito dal movimento cittadino e dalla bellezza dell'area. Prezzi un po' alti (15/16 euro per una margherita) ma siamo in una delle più ricche città elvetiche ed è impossibile trovare prezzi "normali". Complimenti.
Nachdem wir bereits einige male in Restaurant selber gegessen hatten, wählten wir dieses mal die "Terrasse" (im Sommer stehen Da Vinci Tische auf dem Platz vor dem Restaurant). Die Bedienung war freundlich und gab sich viel Mühe. Wenn aber das Essen aus der Küche nicht kommt, kann auch die Bedienung nichts machen. Schliesslich müssen alle Gerichte per Material-Lift nach unten geschickt werden.Die beiden Pizzen waren in Ordnung, ebenso meine Teigwaren. Nicht das grosse "Wow-Erlebnis" aber auch nicht so, dass man nie wieder kommen möchte.Die Preise sind entsprechend der Lage halt eher hoch, aber auch nicht jenseits von Gut und Böse.
The location is great and nice to sit outside and people watch but service and food are both average at best! The gnocchi a la Nona was dry and it had pieces of meat (Maybe sausage morsels) and the cannelloni bolognese was also very dry. We ordered the grande which is their "Normal size and it came In a small hot 6 x 6 white baking dish so not sure If it was previously frozen but did not taste like it was freshly prepared! We were not impressed at all!
