It appeared that the manager wasn't giving enough support to his team, who were still quite new—just a couple of days on the job. While I understand that new employees need time to get acclimated, it was evident that the manager was not fulfilling his responsibilities. Furthermore, when I attempted to contact the head office for feedback, I was given a disconnected phone number. Overall, I won't be returning.
I dined at the restaurant tonight after 7:30 PM, and unfortunately, I found the bread to be dry and hard. The cookies were similarly dry, especially in comparison to my previous visits earlier in the day. If you're thinking of visiting close to closing time, I suggest exploring other options. Tonight's experience didn't match the quality of sandwiches that I know they are capable of making. On a brighter note, the customer service was excellent; it’s just a shame that they used stale bread for my sandwiches.
I've been a loyal customer for over 20 years, and I've always appreciated the sandwiches along with the consistent quality and service. I hadn't been to Dagwoods in about 15 years and was excited to give it another try, so I stopped by this location while in the area. I was thrilled to discover that the Dagwoods sandwich I ordered was just as delicious as I remembered, with fresh ingredients. The staff were friendly, and the restaurant was clean.
This place keeps going downhill. The lone staff member at the counter was overwhelmed and missing key ingredients, which also seem to be of declining quality. I used to really enjoy Dagwoods, but now it has dropped well below average.
The restaurant is always well-maintained, and the staff is not only friendly but also highly efficient. Additionally, the food is simply fantastic!
I would definitely give this place a perfect 10 out of 10! The service was fantastic, and the food was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend it!
