We never expected to find such wonderful Italian cuisine in the small Bavarian city of Coburg. I saw a sign pointing to it at the corner of the famous Apothek on the main square and decided to investigate. You could easily miss it, so standing in the town square, face the centuries old Apothek and go down the street to the right of it. Dal Passacore is on the left-hand side.It's a small restaurant with take-out also available. From the long menu we ordered Antipasto Rustico which turned out to be roasted vegetables and other vegetarian goodies. Just delicious as a starter. Nous ne nous attendions pas à grand chose d'un restaurant italien dans le pays de la wurst, mais nous avons été surpris. Nous avons opté pour le deuxième des quatre dîners proposés à prix fixe, qui a commencé par un joli plateau de légumes grillés, suivi de l'un des meilleurs plats de pâtes que nous ayons jamais goûtés, ... puis du veau exquis, et enfin une sélection de desserts italiens. Le service, de ce qui semblait être le couple qui possède l'endroit, était attentionné, le demi-litre de vin blanc de la maison excellent et le prix pour toute la soirée glorieuse plus que raisonnable. Choisissez ce restaurant italien Dal Passatore car il était à distance de marche de notre hôtel qui était dans le centre de Coburg. Le restaurant est agréable à l'intérieur Le service est efficace et rapide. Nous avons eu une bonne bouteille de vin blanc de Lugano et de l'eau suivie de ... Lasagnes et Tortellini au saumon puis tiramisu. We found this trattoria through tripadvisor. It is a tasteful restaurant medium sized. Interior is very good with some light wood but could use a bit more decoration. We had a very good and warm bruschetta, an anti pasta as a main and a spaghetti aioli, olio and pepperoncini. All wear prepared very well and very tastefull. Service was attentive and fast. Prices were very reasonable. I would like to have this restaurant in my hometown. We would definitely visit it often. Réservez une table maintenant
Chose this Italian restaurant Dal Passatore as it was within walking distance of our hotel which was in the centre of Coburg.The restaurant is nice insideService is efficient and quick. We had a nice bottle of White Lugano wine and water followed by Lasagne and Tortellini with salmon then followed by Tiramisu.All tasty at a total cost of €49.50We would go again if we were in Coburg and certainly recommend this restaurant for anyone reading this review
The food is just the best Italian you'll find in Coburg. Whether you get pizza, pasta or fish the taste is the most genuine one can find in the area.While the interior is s bit functional, though cozy, the staff is outstanding! Regular customers are welcomed as family and do feel treated very special!! They are super attentive but do not bother. Location is in the city centre. But you won't find close parking!
