Damian's Cucina Italiana Restaurant

I have lived in Houston my entire 55 years. I had never been there until now and I think I must have had very high expectations. However, it was a weeknight and a late reservation so maybe this didn't help. I thought it was going to be spectacular and it was not. The place is nice and it reminded me of one of the Italian places in NYC. Our waiter was nice yet an average waiter. The salad and bread were very fresh and delicious. I think the food options were okay many had veal in them and I do not like veal so my selections were fewer. However the fish my daughter had was exceptional. We celebrated NYE at Damien’s. It was a prix fixe menu which included their top menu items. It was a great experience outside of feeling rushed to leave. The servers brought the food out very quickly and kinda stood around to clear your plate and bring the next course. It wasn’t late either…we hd 8:30 reservations. We were out well before 10. I’d try again but not for a special day.

Our waiter was unpleasant and unprofessional. He was late in taking our order and busied himself with other tables. I would call him physically rude. I only tipped him so I wouldn’t look bad, but he was undeserving of his tip. He doesn’t represent you well. I own a restaurant and he wouldn’t be able to keep his job with us, unless he had an attitude adjustment,and soon.

great service and cocktails. we ordered garnelen linguini and garnelen damian both were good, but the garnels on the damian could have used more spicy. a kind of bland. overall it was a good experience Réservez une table maintenant

As always, it was great being at Damien's. Great food, friendly attentive service and a well-appointed dining area where it is possible to hear and converse with friends.

very efficient to get us on and off for a game. that was great. I think waiter was overworked, we had to ask how we asked them, but had to ask for brot, water reps, etc.

an amazing Italian experience. the whole food was amazing and the service was exceptional. we will definitely eat here again when our travels return to houston.
