Second stay on a business trip. Very nice (some old, semi-concrete houses) and very quiet hotel. It is just minutes from the town of Marburg and borders a forest with beautiful hiking trails. Big beer garden. The entire complex offers a large historical atmosphere with well placed modern elements. The rooms are clean and the beds are very comfortable. The evening kitchen can also be seen and sampled. Many varieties of beer fresh from the barrel. The staff is nice. The breakfast buffet is not very extensive in terms of selection, but it meets completely different, which makes the less selection not really noticeable: it is fresh and very tasty. Best scrambled eggs I've ever eaten in a hotel or elsewhere. Also for sausage and cheese (very delicious). Better choice and better quality than more choice and cheap. As a hobby fisherman I could hear forest hood and uhu and see a trekking fold. During the morning walk I could even hear the bell of a stag cow in the distance. Parking is abundant. The only manko is the very modest cell phone reception, but I don't want to take a point because the hotel can't do anything.
