Danish Bakers - Réservation de table

I tried the butter cake at this restaurant because I heard they were renowned for it. Unfortunately, a few hours later, I became extremely ill and ended up in the hospital with food poisoning, experiencing severe symptoms for days. I advise you to avoid this place unless you're willing to risk getting very sick. It's unfortunate because the butter cake was delicious, but something in it made me unwell, and I know it was the only thing I consumed that day before I fell ill. I've enjoyed butter cake many times in my life, but I have NEVER had a reaction like this. Dine here at your own risk.

We visited last Friday and purchased some boxes of cookies, five hot cross buns, and a sweet roll sheet. Everything was delicious. However, we had a negative experience with the young girl who served us. She came across as quite rude. When my husband ordered the sweet roll sheet, she mentioned that it wasn't like regular sweet rolls because it was made with Danish dough. Curious, he asked her about the difference between the doughs, and she dismissively replied, "It's Danish"... okay...

By far the best bakery in the area and that includes all of NE Philly! The product quality is top notch and the bakers, along with the counter service staff are all great people!

I ordered 6 Danish pastries, but when I got home, I found only 5 in the box. Aside from that, everything was fresh and delicious.
