Have visited this restaurant many times and always left happy and satisfied. Being of Greek descent myself, I've eaten lots of Greek food in my life. Daphne's does it really well. Although the prices on the coast are a little higher than some places in Vancouver, Daphne's is definitely the best Greek Restaurant on the Sunshine Coast. Leo's Tapas and Grill Greek Cuisine in Gibson's is more expensive and far less tasty. Don't waste your money here. Go to Daphne's!! Delicious!!
Had an excellent meal at Daphne's on a Friday evening. We just arrived from the main land and went in on the off chance they could fit us in and they did. The place was very busy and they had a few large tables they were catering for. The staff were all friendly and our server was lovely. The food was delicious. We ordered from the tapas section and shared the dishes. All washed down nicely with a glass of wine. Would recommend you try this place out.
we were disappointed to discover the menu has changed with a significant increase in price. Mussels were tiny and very few. Trio Dips are way up in price. Saganaki cheese up in price and burnt. The owners and servers are lovely but increasing prices and dropping quality is not a good plan. We came away disappointed and hungry and after spending way more than usual, we won't be back.
We stumbled upon this restaurant while heading to another destination, but the enticing aroma drew us in, and we're so glad we followed our noses. The Mediterranean dinner was outstanding, and the paella was the best I've had in ages! Everything we ordered was incredible, and the service was flawless. Went in to Daphne's tonight expecting good things. I was not disappointed in the least. My wife and I had a share plate and it was excellent. There was only two waitresses on and it was busy but the service was good and very attentive. Overall I would recommend Daphne's for a satisfying meal. Reservations are recommended.
We tried it for the first time Friday night and loved it. The menu had something for everyone. The hummus was fantastic! There were four of us and we all enjoyed our meal. We found the prices to be very reasonable. We would highly recommend and will go back
The food is overly greasy and leaves you feeling ill, similar to eating from an old boot. Most of the pasta dishes are swimming in a pool of oil. If you're looking for an experience that might upset your stomach, this is the place to go.
Ya. Good spot. Newly renovated. Very attentive staff. I had the Calamari plate. Lots of food. Food came fast. 9 ounce glass of wine , dinner , tip , tax and the total was $29.00 Next visit to Sechelt going to try The Old Boot. Réservez une table maintenant
My girlfriend got sick after having her pizza, and my steak was poorly prepared—there was no marinade or sea salt. It was quite disappointing.
