Without that you probably wouldn't come here. The food that we had was OK but nothing special. The service was very friendly but only two of the waiters seemed to be authorised to take orders, the others just brought them, so you need patience to get served. But the view is magnificent. For that reason alone it will be worth returning.

The scenery makes this restaurant worth the trek. The actual food is just OK. The ambiance is world class though. We hiked up to this restaurant through picturesque vineyards and were treated to amazing scenery overlooking the river and town. They have outdoor tables so you can enjoy the view while eating. Just stunning.

ATTENTION: The vineyard is rebuilt and opens in spring 2017 under the new direction of Adolf Störzel. There are three apartments with magnificent views over Rüdesheim, via Bingen to the Nahetal. It can still enjoy on the covered terrace. Therefore, all old reviews are due.

Service material. The cattle broth for 5 euros as an appetizer was completely salted. The roasted pipe carving with the dry bread crumbs cost a total of 19.80 euros per carving. 0.1 liter tramminer beat beech with rich 3.50 euros. Here you usually pay the location!

Overall, a good value for money and a really great view over some fade dishes can comfort. Nice service and fair prices for such a tour hotspot!
