I’ve made it a mission to try as many lobster rolls as possible. Today was by far the worst one I have had thus far in PEI. I ordered the smallest one for $17 as I was told it was average size (3oz of lobster...meat) and it can with a side of either potato chips or coleslaw. I opted for coleslaw and got it to go. I opened up the package and found the “side” of slaw to be about an ounce. Literally the size of a ketchup snap container. Two bites and gone. Nothing to write home about. Vinegar based. The roll was about the size of a small hotdog bun. The lobster meat was mostly small pieces without any real decipherable claw or tail. The base of the lobster was tasty with celery and nice spices....

Oh, my goodness, I wanted to be in a position to write a good review. sad to say, I can't. I had read about daves lobster and decided I wanted to go there. I was so disappointed, I had the half and half. roll and hubby had the grilled cheese lobster. there was absolutely no gratification in it, I even asked if the lobster itself had ever been in salt water. if someone would wash out definitiw. it was an overpriced meal ride on daves name ... he would have put the load off if he had tasted it. there was no salt in it so that my hubby went back to get some salt and the restaurant itself had no lol just a big full box lol . my disappointed lies more in me because I will not reclaim our money. w...

I have had a number of lobster rolls in my day, some better than others. This unfortunately falls into the “others” category. I got the Some Fancy roll, the largest one. First strike was that it was frozen lobster, you can taste the difference from...fresh. Despite it being sautéed in butter etc, it was pretty dry and flavourless. Unfortunate really, it could have been so much better for the $25 price.

I ordered the half and half lobster roll, which was delicious, but significantly overpriced at $21 compared to other similar options. I have had equally tasty lobster rolls for a fraction of the cost. Despite the lack of a busy crowd, service was slow as only one young lady was working, and it took at least an hour to receive my food. Réservez une table maintenant

Average food, service was unimpressive. Had much better food elsewhere, and you had to clean your table yourself. The only option for a side (although on the menu it stated cole slaw) was Plain, BBQ, Sea Salt or Salt and Vinegar potato chips from a...bag. So disappointing for the price.

I tried the half and half. Did get a bit of shell, but that happens elsewhere too. From the menu description I was expecting better from the traditional half. It was OK. The hot half was interesting, a quick saute with butter and garlic. Bag...of chips to satisfy the crunchy crave.

Avonlea Village offers a variety of lunch options, and this restaurant is a fun place to stop with the family. While prices may be geared towards tourists, the food is very good. There are also more affordable dining choices available in the village.

The word meh comes to mind. I’ve had a lot of lobster rolls and I for sure have had better than here. It is pricey as well, but falls in line with other lobster rolls in the area. It’s ok, nothing spectacular unfortunately Réservez une table maintenant

This was our first experience trying lobster rolls and it was incredible! The food was delicious and the servers were very helpful in answering our questions. A must-stop for lunch while visiting Prince Edward Island.
