The food we had in Davidson was very good. I had the beef, it was well presented and flavors amazing. Couldn't blame the service. I scored the atmosphere low above all because we were the only ones in the restaurant that is no fault of the restaurant and a real shame as the food and service was so good to be full of his restaurant that deserves to be. Another observation when we fell out of the front door, we were not sure we were in the right place. The lighting was low, the front door was open, which led to a low-lit corridor with a dead end. The name of the restaurant at the end of the corridor was small, but only then did we know we were in the right place.
We have been here a billion times, why because they always serve up excellence. Ok so that's a bit strong, yeah, nah, yeah, nah, YEAH! the Davidson's restaurant is Geelong's best kept secret. Rarely bursting at the seams, but fantastic food. If you want a positive culinary experience, this is the place to go to. Go on, indulge yourself and give it a try. : You know you want to. But wait, no don't go here and don't rave about it because others will know about it and fill the space with people and we won't be able to get in! : can't have that... Nah , seriously good food guaranteed.
The Davidson Restaurant is a beautiful space with a clear window view of the kitchen and the chefs at work. The service was excellent and the food exceptional! We loved the damper with golden syrup butter and our main dishes Lamb rump for my husband and Kangaroo fillet for me were sensational. We highly recommend the restaurant and the staff.
We had a fantastic time at the restaurant in Davidson. The food was outstanding, beautifully presented, and most importantly, delicious. The Macadamia crumbs on the chicken added the perfect texture and paired well with the perfectly cooked vegetables. Steph was wonderful as the front of house. Very knowledge and a lot of experience. We thoroughly enjoyed our mains, barramundi and chicken and the margaritas were delicious. It is very different to how the old Davidson was where the waiters were students and the meals were very affordable.
The food at this restaurant is fantastic and the menu layout is creative. The staff is well-trained, including the talented student chefs from the college. The host gave us a warm welcome and the atmosphere was inviting and positive. I can't get enough of the high quality of this place!
This was our first visit to Davidson since the renovations and the introduction of a new menu. We were extremely impressed by the diverse and exciting menu options, as well as the high quality of the food and the updated interior. We will definitely be returning to Din soon.
The food and service at this restaurant were outstanding. The new decor is fantastic! I enjoyed being able to see the kitchen. We went on a slow night, so we plan to return when it's more lively. We had a delicious 3-course meal and some wine for only $100 per person. Réservez une table maintenant
