I've been coming here since the year I moved to town. Now that I'm leaving, it seems like the perfect time to give my overall review of Dbali! The Good: The Owner: The owner is a gem! She knows my husband and me by name, keeps up with our life updates, and remembers our order down to the tiniest detail. We adore her and will miss her the most. Nasi Goreng Rice: The best fried rice we've ever had. Anytime my husband craves Asian food, we try to venture out, but somehow always end up back at Dbali. The interior was really nice and you can feel the culinary up class taste from the water cups and the rice container. Came for a visit on a Saturday night, the staff was super nice but I don 't know what it is too many to go orders or too many items on the menu , we waited for our food for a good 40 mins. Then sauce for summer roll was forgotten so as the banchan cuz the only waiter was swamped. I ordered through DoorDash and the grilled Korean short ribs were decent, but a bit tough. There wasn't much rice included, which was disappointing since I was really craving it. If you're a rice lover, I’d suggest ordering extra rice for $4, as they don't pack it down like a regular takeout container, and I'm not sure if it was the short-grain variety either. The baos were a letdown; the bread was denser than the usual Chinese bread, lacking that light and airy texture. Went here once and it was really good. Didn 't have any complaints and really nice service. I preface with with this because I was shocked went my husband and I went back a second time and I was given raw chicken in my Togo order. Like, pink, cold. I called and they apologized saying I just talked to the owner and she thought she temped it and it was good . They refunded THAT portion of the order. I was really surprised that such a highly rated place would provide service like this. If you DID temp it, it would have come back underdone. No in between. I had dinner tonight with my sister, and we thoroughly enjoyed both the food and the service. We started with fresh spring rolls filled with shrimp (more like prawns) and accompanied by a variety of dipping sauces. For our main course, we ordered the veggie stir fry with tofu, which was delicious, but we were so full from the spring rolls that we ended up bringing most of it home. The owner, Mama Jeannie, was gracious and friendly, and our server was sweet, beautiful, and attentive. It’s a fantastic spot for exotic cuisine!

Went there for dinner it was not what it used to be. The price for the dinner serving sizes increased but the actually portions got significantly smaller. The used to bring out more sides but all my husband I got were 3 very small sides with barely any in it. They used to serve up a lot of chicken for the garlic chicken but this one was a joke. My husband I also had to share a small bowl of rice. We also got Bombay chicken which wasn 't Bombay chicken. For $40 all we had was the pictured. Will not be returning

On the bright side, the service was excellent, and the staff were very friendly. The owner was particularly warm and welcoming, showing genuine enthusiasm for each customer. She even packed our leftover dessert in ice for us since we had so much food. Thank you for that! The ambiance felt a bit sterile and the restaurant was somewhat cold, but that wasn’t a major issue—the owner’s warmth more than made up for it.

We came on a Saturday night when they were clearly understaffed. It took 30 minutes to get our appetizer while everyone who ordered giant takeout orders ahead of us got their food. Food was amazing, as was the nice old lady who runs the joint. We may be back, if we have 2 hours to burn and are not hungry. Plenty of parking in the lot. Réservez une table maintenant

We drove through it following the yelp review, obviously this will be our first and last visit. Food is awful and the water came with unknown rice. That beef one is the worst, obviously not cooked today, and shrimp is another disaster too.
