Hmmmm. I rarely write bad reviews. They are short staffed yes. On Sunday was one gal serving whole place. Slow to be expected. On my Arroz Pollo order I said No veggies, extra rice. Simple. I repeated to make sure she understood. Food came out fairly fast. Plate was stock. Veggies and very...little..rice... very small. She dropped plates and dissapeard so fast I couldent say anything I know she was running. After quit some time i flagged her down and asked for a side of rice, no big deal on the veggies. Another wait and brought a huge plate of rice...um i was thinking like a small bowl as in a Side... Ok great.. never came back to ask anything, no drink refill offers.. Then the bill. 19.50 f...

El Comalon Mexican Restaurant in Airway Heights is a true gem! Having grown up in the Hatch Valley, I hold Mexican food to a high standard, and this place surpassed all my expectations. We recently enjoyed the Chile Rellenos and a Rellenos Combo Plate, and the flavors took us straight back to authentic Mexican cuisine. Food was good but service was really bad. Order meal and request no sour cream, meal came with sour cream. My wife request some salsa, waitress walked by our table about 4 times and salsa never came. I was having a beer with my meal. Drank my beer and never asked if I wanted another. No tip and never going back. Meal type: Dinner

Amazing service considering how understaffed they are you could only tell because it's a one lady show and that lady is running table to table providing the best quality of customer service. The food, service, and location are excellent. The dining area is cozy, featuring lovely little nooks that provide a sense of privacy, which I really appreciate. The music is enjoyable and never too loud. I highly recommend this place for dinner!

Was served chips and spicy salsa. No water served or even asked if we wanted anything to drink. Waited and waited for our order to be taken... never saw the waitess again. We left and went to noodle express.
