We had dinner at the Hotel de Ville last night. We sat on the terrace looking at the Dents de Midi. The service was very good, quick, attentive and friendly. The food was delicious. One of us had foie gras, another asparagus and the other a wonderful green salad. All of it was delicious. Then for main dish, two of us had the rack of lamb with a wild garlic pesto sauce and the other had poached fish in a creamy sauce. And to crown it off we had out of this world crème brûlée. The chefs were formerly at the Michelin-starred Royalp in Villars.
