Surprised by some of the poor reviews as we had a pleasant experience at Dean's. Atmosphere: Typical trendy coffee shop with brick exposed walls and lots of fun signs throughout the shop. There's not a ton of seating but certainly enough that you can sit and enjoy your coffee if you so choose. Coffee: We ordered a lavender iced latte and a fall sugar latte. The lavender latte was perfect; not too sweet and the right balance of all ingredients. The sugar latte was also well balanced and not overly sweet. We enjoyed our drinks. Service: The barista was friendly and provided recommendations of the fall line up. Overall, I wouldn't hesitate to come back.
I have been a regular customer at Deans for a few years. The coffee is always excellent and I prefer it far more then any other local options nearby. The service here is great with very personable staff who always makes time for a little small talk with me and other customer that frequent the shop. I would recommend Deans to anyone and I will continue to go there.
I've visited this place three times. The first two visits, the coffee was quite good—definitely above average. However, during my third visit, the shop was open, but no one was inside. My wife, our baby, and I waited for nearly 15 minutes and called out "Hello" a couple of times, but no one ever responded. So, we ended up leaving.
Hit or miss. This place has good coffee when the dude is here, but otherwise it's awful. They're generally rude here. You'll have to stare at the back of the chick who works here while she washes dishes bc she's not interested in selling you coffee until she finishes what she's doing. Inattentive and cranky, borderline hostile.

Cute place located on the heart of Pearl River. Service was ok. Gentleman behind the counter had a bit of an attitude. They have a very nice gluten-free selection. Dont go if you like hot coffee. Coffee is served somewhere between warm and hot.
Without a doubt, this is the best coffee in Rockland. The gluten-free baked goods are truly exceptional—some of the best I’ve ever had!
