We held our engagement party at the Celtic Ray and were thrilled to reserve the second floor for our private event. The bartender was fantastic, with a great personality and excellent service. The food we had pre-ordered for the celebration included the famous fish and chips, chicken and chips, brown cheese dips, coleslaw, sodabrot, and a beautiful fruit and cheese board. The food was incredibly delicious, as if we had ordered it right at the bar. It was served in generous portions and remained perfectly hot. Came to Punta Gorda for my daughter’s gymnastics meet and made a weekend vacation out of it. Of all the restaurants we went to this was by far the best. Great food, great people, and great drinks. The “Pub” atmosphere was perfect. One of the employees, Ryan, made our evening by coming out to talk with us and even the owner was out and about meeting customers.
