One thing everybody should know about Nice is that a lot of restaurants are closed on Monday, which is contrary to Paris in which a lot of places are closed on Sunday. My boyfriend and I (Parisians) did not know that, and we arrived to Nice on Monday. Trying to eat lunch was a bit of a challenge. We stumbled upon this place, and we were so desperate that we just sat down and ate. It turns out that we were really lucky, because this restaurant is a masterpiece. As Americans, we have a certain vision of France. The one thing that a lot of us don 't know about France is that France is an incredibly diverse nation. This restaurant, in one of the most beautiful neighbourhoods in Nice, is a wonder...

A delightful lunch in Old Nice there’s a lot of choice in the area and it’s tough to avoid overpriced tourist traps. This place had a good mix of French people and tourists not the cheapest lunch we had but okay considering the location. The food is high quality simple Breton fare and quick to serve, unfussy salads and savoury crepes (galettes) were great, just as good as the ones in northern France. The dessert sweet crepes (pancakes) were excellent and the cider (sweet or brut/ dry) was a brilliant accompaniment. We would go back to this place!

This is a real luck we've found this restaurant in TripAdvisor. We'd never stop there if passing by. Their spécialités were delicious, the wine was great, the girl serving us was friendly. Prices were moderate the lunch for two with wine for€52.
