I ordered the miso glazed salmon dish with soba noodles and edamame. The noodles and edamame were cooked perfectly, not too chewy or watery like some places tend to make them. However, my only complaint is that the miso glaze was too strong, making the salmon taste saltier than expected for a Japanese dish. Despite this, the textures in the dish were well balanced.
The atmosphere of the restaurant was excellent, with a very clean and open space in Camberwell. The service was also top-notch, with quick and considerate staff who timed the delivery of food so that everyone at the table could eat together, a practice often overlooked by other restaurants.

A slightly dated restaurant opposite the Tivoli. Meals were average, the smashed avocado was the better of the two. Chicken Parma was overwhelmed by the tomato and salad dressing way to heavy dressing for my taste. Staff struggled with coordination at not a really busy time. Problem might be supervision. Overall, doubt we would return.
Wednesday late lunch after the movies. Certainly quieter than the Legacy cafe that we just had to get up and leave. Table service was excellent, food was well priced and the selection of wine and beer was adequate. Between us we had Grain salad, pulled pork salad, lamb shoulder and chicken risotto. Not a complaint amongst us.
Driving down the street and saw the Deco and it was open for breakfast. We were greeted in a very friendly manner and the service was great! The coffee was superb as well. We decided on the smashed avocado on sour dough bread with feta cheese and a poached egg. Both of us liked it very much. The decor was interesting to boot.

We couldn't resist trying two desserts: the violet crumble honeypot, which was deliciously sweet, and the vanilla brûlée, which had a satisfying crack but was nothing too special.
The staff and waiters were extremely friendly and polite, and their service really added to our overall dining experience.
If you need to have dinner prior to crossing the road for a movie, then Deco has an array of nice food for you to choose from. Menu has shrunk since a previous visit but still adequate choice of pizza, pasta, salads and others. Overall a good choice for a quick pre-show meal.
Had pasta with eye fillet beef. Some of the beef was inedible, but dish tasty. My husband had the lamb shanks. It was a small microwaved meal.Asked for a substitute for potato on my meal due to diet issues but it was to much trouble.

Friendly staff, lamb shoulder and salmon were delicious. Make sure to try the sticky date pudding.
Food was overpriced, portion control left a lot to be desired.
