I absolutely loved this restaurant! It has a fascinating backstory and is far from the typical bland sushi bar. It's Hispanic-owned and features a diverse range of flavors, making it the best sushi I've ever had. The atmosphere is relaxing, with soft lighting that isn't harsh or blinding, and they even have a projector playing music videos! I would give it a 20/10—it's definitely a place you need to visit twice a week! Plus, it's wheelchair accessible at the front door. The service is excellent for dining in.

The location is great on the outside but the inside is cute. The food was ok. You'd swear by the reviews they get that the food would be phenomenal but it's ok. I probably wouldn't make the trip back but the sushi was ok. I do give them credit for the food being hot and fresh. The shrimp fried rice was pretty good too. absolutely love this place when I want sushi, I only command him from here. I had only ever liked the California roll, but I took a chance and tried the Texas roll and I don't regret it, so now I both command my only problem with them tonight is the soulweed is like old salate that is a shame and a little annoying, especially since I absolutely love it.

If you're on the lookout for a great sushi or sashimi spot, this is the place to be. The quality of the food is excellent, the prices are reasonable, the sake is served hot, and the dishes are truly outstanding. It's definitely a staple in Deer Park. Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5
