Deidesheimer Stuben

Our first station here was in summer. We sat outside and had a glass of wine. It was pleasant, the wine was excellent. Winter finally arrived and chased us to the house for dinner. Very cozy, excellent food, also very popular among locals. You have local specialties and seasonal offers. So far we have to be disappointed by everything they have served us. Service was good and friendly, and the ambience is very relaxing. Without reservations, we needed a few attempts to land a table. I recommend reservations. If you are like us and are vulnerable to plan ahead, you need to find out when things are slow. When is it slow? This is a secret that you have to work alone or I will never get a table!

The town of Deidesheim gets a lot of tourist traffic in the summer, so it can be difficult to find a good spot to eat without a reservation. Keep that in mind. Getting here a little early in the evening helped in that regard. The...menu is a bit limited, but the entrees and apps are all solid (mostly regional specialties and the service is great. I came here with a former student and we ate well off one appetizer and one entree (which came with a very large salad . I don't recall the menu being in English, but if you have learned the words for some of the local specials (leberknodel, saumagen, bratwurst, etc. you should do fine.

Schade. Man erwartet vielleicht zu viel? Auf jeden Fall wurde z.B. auf unsere Nachfrage (da das Wetter perfekt was) uns kein Tisch im Aussenbereich angeboten. (Bei anderen Restaurants selbstverständlich. Der Service in der Stube war dementsprechend durchwachsen. Die Qualität des Essens ok aber wenig fantasievoll noch hervorragend zubereitet. Insbesondere der berühmte Saumagen war "von der Stange". Schade wir hatten mehr erwartet.

Dieses ist eines meiner Lieblingsrestaurants in Deidesheim. Seit Jahren ist die Qualität gleichbleibend gut und auf hohem Niveau. Super frische Salate und die Karte mit den regionalen Spezialitäten wird immer durch eine Monatskarte erweitert. Alles schmeckt super lecker und die Weinkarte deckt die führenden Weingüter der Gegend ab zu absolut zivilen Preisen. Ich freue mich schon auf den nächsten Besuch im Mai und den Spargel.

This little jewel is right in front of my front door. Our apartment is on the street. This is a beautiful Restuarant with original decor. Food and service is always excellent. My favorite is the Cordeun-Bleu. They also cried very well. I would definitely...recommend
