Once we sat, it took 20 mins for anyone to greet us and then another 10 mins to place the order. The server also forgot our coffees and she served other tables that arrived after us first. This is a nice place for brunch, whether you have kids or not. The food was really tasty; the grilled cheese was fantastic, the waffles were light and flavorful, and the melted brie plate was excellent. However, the main downside was the price—$70 for two adults and a toddler feels a bit steep. The quality of the meals could be improved to justify that cost. The service also needs some attention. Although the staff was enthusiastic and friendly, they forgot a few items and didn't linger at our table long enough for us to provide feedback or check if everything was okay with our order. We were served cutlery, and nothing else, despite there being a small army of bussers. We were seated at an IKEA table, in IKEA chairs, waiting for someone to pay some attention to us. Only one person takes orders the owner and when I asked her if we could order, she replied bruskly that there were other people who had arrived before us. We had an unpleasant and unexpected reception at the front door from the cashier staff, who mentioned items that are no longer on the menu. As it was our first visit to your beautiful restaurant, this was quite off-putting. Otherwise, we would have rated it higher, as the rest of the staff were lovely and the smoothies were delicious.
