I have driven by on the way to the Dekalb Farmer's Market and it is hard to miss the Hot Roti sign. Today we decided to drop in and try it. The food is awesome. There are a few seats but mostly people carry out. Bill and I ate in. There was a steady stream of customers the whole time we were in the place. The jerk chicken is spicy and moist. Cooked to perfection. But the sides make the place. We tried callaloo, mac and cheese and yams. Try this place.
If you haven't tried this jerk, get your hiney to this jerk shack. Don't let the simple digs steer you away. If it's good enough for Usher and Luda, you can pop in. My third experience and so good. The chef is so kind and the chicken falls of the bone. The best homemade jerk sauce will set you on fire. Love having this gem in my backyard. Kuddos chef. See you soon and wish I tried you sooner.
I had the jerk chicken, yams and collards. Would go back for the yams alone but the jerk was near perfection with complex heat and seasoning. Brenda had brown stewed chicken which was some of the best I've had. These people know their stuff!

Jerk sauce is what sets this place off. This is a true hole in the wall spot, so its cool to see the photos oc celebrities that visit. Shout out to Andre 3000.
INCREDIBLE...EVERY TIME!! I make the trek and treat myself to a whole chicken every few months. Chef is a real nice man.
