we have a simple lunch. I said I had allergies (joyings/garlic) and the waiter has been sweating that I was in the wrong restaurant. he said italians use a lot of garlic. I know. I am Italian..but I also traveled in italy without problems, so that was a bit strange. I said a simple paprikasalat was in order, let the kitchen simply know that they leave any wobbles or garlic. he served it with a pesto sauce that is not safe for me. I asked for an salad without the sauce, only tomato and mozzarella. he brought a new one with a huge baptism. I decided not to send it back, bit of the other side ate. disappointing when I didn't ask for something funny. the back area is nice and cool on a hot day....

My husband and I stopped here while visiting Sonoma for our 25th wedding anniversary and were greeted by the very welcoming Rob at the front. I enjoyed the buttery, melt in your mouth gnocchi and my husband loved the Clam linguine. Our outstanding waiter Giorgio suggested the dessert of the day and the Tiramisu so we opted for traditional Italian Tiramisu. They treated us to both but only charged us for one which was incredibly kind. Almost forgot to mention the bread with dipping oil vinegar! Let’s just say we bought 2 bottles of the balsamic vinegar to bring home. Atmosphere, staff and food is exceptional.

we have been here many times, so maybe one night or another staff in the kitchen. no warning. for dinner I ordered the rotisserie duck with wildreis risotto. the duck tasted deep fritted and was well cooked and the risotto was just a buck of wild rice. I hope to come back, but this evening it was so far from the normal one I expected when I eat here. 2 stars because I know they can get better.

Authentic Italian and rustic outside decor. Penne contadina was excellent. Dolce Del Giorno desert was also fantastic. I had this instead of tiramisu at the staffs’ recommendation and it did not disappoint!

Very nice place with outstanding food. The attached wine bar is very popular. We go every year on the 29th of December and have never been disappointed. The wait staff are professional and effective.
