Very nice meal, I had the Tandoori Mixed Grill and my accomplice had the Chicken Madras. Both were lovely and there was plenty to eat. This place is obviously very busy with carry-out orders and the continual ringing of the telephone was somewhat off-putting in an otherwise very quiet restaurant. Was maybe just the owners manner but he sounded very abrupt on the telephone? It's a big place to be the only diners in but as per my opening comments the food was lovely.
The owner of this restaurant is truly kind-hearted. He always remembers my family, even though my parents are now too elderly to come in person. Whenever I visit Banchory, we always stop by for a curry because the food here is fantastic, bursting with flavor and served in generous portions. I highly recommend it! Lovely restaurant. Food was excellent and portion sizes generous. Every table in the place was full, with some large parties in. Staff were run off their feet but still gave service with a smile.
