Stowe Gardens National Trust Cafe

So disappointed. Had a lovely walk around the grounds and gardens, decided to stop for a hot chocolate on the way back. Bought 2 hot chocolates and 2 kitkats. Just under £10. Not one member of staff seemed to smile, felt like they were there to tick a box. Hot chocolates were both cold. Cups handled around the top when I asked for replacements and generally shocking, don't really care, attitude. For a treat, it felt disappointing.

Fair sized cafe with plenty of both indoor and outdoor seating. Light meals and coffee, but the system of ordering and collecting food then requeuing to get the coffee from another counter is bizarre- hot food is cold by the time you are done. Signs indicate the cafe is closing for refurbishment so hopefully this will be changed. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch

Stowe Garden Cafe was nice, my wife and I had a scone and coffee, but my wife asked about jam and they wanted £1 for a small plastic pot which seemed very overpriced.
