Desi Traditional Balti And Pizza House

My oh my! So I turned up not expecting anything particularly great, boy was I in for a surprise The restaurant itself was pretty normal' in terms of setting, decor etc. I took a good look at the menu and decided that I'd go...for the balti meat' slightly saucy and hot. The waiter was polite and ensured me that the balti would be cooked just the way I requested. The time it took I'd say was about minutes which isn't quick by stretch of the imagination, but I'd rather wait for a good balti than a rushed one that tasted terrible. In the mean time I was served condiments in the form of different chutneys to go with salad. Very nice and not the type of chutneys I've had elsewhere. Well, as the food arrived I immediately dug in and it tasted FANTASTIC!! The spice was just right, the taste delicious, the meat nice and tender! mmmm I'm feeling hungry just writing this review!! I've been all over the country and I have to say this has go to be EASILY ONE OF THE BEST!! Can't wait to go back!

they met with some old friends for an evening meal, suggested desi’s when it was their regular hunting, knew vaguely about it, but not somewhere I was before. bright floor set with seating down for me a menu fetched. but my kumpels suggested something called tawar? I flew with the river. the young man who took our order was good friendly, there were enough food for him to have joined us, this tawar came on a huge plate was made of lamb chicken curries on the basis with byriani in between, over it was kofte kebabs, keema level naan’s, spicy pommes pizza slices was to share, although there was so much we ended with us to take. no alcohol is served, but this is not a problem for me, the softdrinks were enough to calm the heat of the curry. I have no idea what the end price was when one of my kumpels was paid for all on the sly, but I would definitely go back, the quality of the food was excellent the service on par too.

had lunch here with my partner from Switzerland, menu super simple and so eat super fresh and delicious. service excellent. space and decor simple and uncomplicated. if they are a food, then this is a hidden gem in peterborough. I recommend a Desi experience.

eating is very nice, but their portions on takeaways have too small. my main size murmel was more like a side size. unfortunately we will go elsewhere in the future.

dissatisfied and rude customer service they avoid the order of this place as customer service is not understood sadly.
