Every now and then, you just crave a vegan pizza that's loaded with toppings and vegan cheese. Unfortunately, finding a good vegan pizza in Cleveland Heights or Cleveland can be a challenge. Dewey's has recently started offering vegan cheese, allowing you to enjoy a decent vegan pizza with plenty of toppings. However, it does come at a price, with additional fees for swapping dairy cheese for non-dairy cheese and for extra veggies. While the pizza is okay, there have been instances of mistakes like adding dairy cheese or undercooked dough. Despite its flaws, Dewey's vegan pizza is still a decent option in a city with limited vegan pizza choices.
Never been to Dewey's but I'm glad I was there. Our server,E'CHIEKO was amazingShe made our coffee and it was great. Not your typical black water fare,but really good coffee with a robust flavor. A great server period!! We each had salads,I had the peppercorn ranch with bacon bits. Outstanding. For pizza I had the usual mushrooms and pepperoni. 17 inch,I think. Looked like a spare tire on our table. There was very little left,brought 3 slices home. I was hungry and very pleased with my pizza. I was bouncing in my booth which means I was ecstatic. Go to Dewey's,you'll bounce too.
I went to Dewey's with my children, who love watching them make pizza, and decided to get takeout. Dewey's is one of the top pizza spots in Cleveland, offering a style similar to New York but with their own twist. They have a wide range of toppings to choose from. I particularly enjoy the spinach and fresh mozzarella. I highly recommend trying something unique from their menu!
The fact that it's tucked away in a corner only adds to the charm for me. The staff is incredibly friendly and genuinely seem to enjoy their work. The pizza is delicious and my fiancé has been craving it every day for the past few weeks. Having worked in the food industry for 15 years, I can confidently say that great service always translates to great food!

The specialty pizzas are really special, with some of the most unusual combinations I have seen. Over time, I've sampled most of them and they are all good. Ditto for the salads which are equally creative. Service has always been quick and friendly. You can watch them throw the pizza dough in the air like in the old country. What's not to like?
This restaurant offers delicious salads that can still be enjoyed without cheese. Their loaded veggie pizza is a standout even without the cheese. They are accommodating to vegan customers by allowing them to bring in their own vegan cheese for their pizza. The atmosphere is fun and family-friendly, with a good selection of beers available.
We absolutely adore Dewey's! Having a local and delicious pizza place within walking distance is a real treat. Every pizza on the menu is fantastic, but our favorites are the Bronx Bomber and Ryan's Inferno.
The restaurant now offers vegan cheese as an option, which is a nice touch for those who don't want to bring their own.
