We were being treated for our anniversary which I did mention in the reservation (because there was a question about special occasion) They were very flexible as our plans had changed and they were able to accommodate us 45 min earlier than our reservation. There was an odd scent, sort of musty or perfume like but not exactly. I am very sensitive to scent but even my husband noticed it as it was quite strong. I would have said something but since we were being treated I didn’t want to cause any awkwardness. We were the first people there but by the time we left every table was filled. C'est un charmant restaurant italien du vieux monde qui rappelle une autre époque. C'était un jour de neige et le restaurant n'était pas bondé pour le déjeuner, mais la nourriture était excellente. Le pain était frais et délicieux. Le minestrone fait maison était léger et parfumé. Les crevettes étaient excellentes. C'était l'anniversaire de ma petite amie, et notre serveur, de sa propre initiative, a apporté un délicieux dessert avec un message au chocolat. Nous reviendrons en tout cas.
Super nourriture et service. Personnel très sympathique et très arrangeant pour nos deux enfants. Nous avons tous mangé jusqu'à ce que nous soyons rassasiés et sommes allés dans nos poches avec deux repas de valeur. Super restaurant de quartier et bonne cuisine italienne. Je recommanderais le Calimari en entrée qui peut suivre le meilleur de Chicago. Nous reviendrons 10 expériences sur 10! ????????
A hit in every aspect- food, service, atmosphere, low noise level and excellent wine and mixed drinks. The waitstaff was exceptionally well informed in providing background and guidance on food and drink choices- very professional. Chef Velario stopping by to check with us on our experience topped it off.

Date night with the wifey, was seated right away as soon as we walk in(reservations). Server did a phenomenal job on menu recommendations and being knowledgeable on the dishes. Chef specials were delicious. Would go again.
Service and food were outstanding! A very nice little restaurant with a good wine selection. The only issue was our server and bartender did not know anything about our Opentable reward. We will definitely return!
We really enjoyed our dinner. Everyone was very professional and helpful. Food was excellent especially the specials. The appetizers and desserts (sorbets) were also very good. Highly recommend

The food was excellent! I love this place! The pasta never misses and obsessed with the insalata peppe!!! Bravo!!!
