Found this hidden jewel because I couldn?t get in the restaurant I planned to visit. The Penne a la vodka turned out to be the highlight of my day. It?s the best pasta I?ve ever had in the past 3 years and it definitely showed me the true form of comfort food. I?ve never found myself smiling nonstop from the second pasta was served. Definitely recommend the pasta. Tiramisu was not too sweet, super moist and flavorful, perfect match with the extra foamy cappuccino served with perfect amount of ground cinnamon on top. Do not miss out on the dessert!!
DiMaggio?s Trattoria in Port Washington is a best kept secret in fine restaurant dining. The food is truly delicious, the service is outstanding, the ambiance is charming. Angelo, the owner of 43 years, is just so personable welcoming. Whether enjoying a dinner for two or a group of 15+, a terrific dining experience is a certainty! Highly recommended! David Dolan
My wife and I had a wonderful time there celebrating our wedding anniversary. Eddie (one of the owners) and the staff treated us so well we decided to leave a review. The food is very good too, specially the pasta. The cannoli (dessert) was phenomenal. We have only great things to say about this place. Give them a try!
Came here on a strong recommendation of a friend! Boy, was this place amazing! Authentic and everyone was so hospitable. I flew in from LA for an event and this was the first stop. We just found this place for the 1st time on saturdy night but I am pretty sure it has been there forever. We received a warm greeting from the chef and maitre D as we entered and were quickly seated, the food is absolutely amazing. Looks like they also do a booming take out business
Came here after a recommendation from a client. I had the cavatelli special and it couldn't have been any better. Also, had the Oreo ice cream cake and that was also delicious. 4 out of 5 stars because the server was a little slow but still a great experience overall.
