We 've had impressive pizza and ice cream here a few times over the last few years, so as we were spending the day in Whitley Bay decided to get food here again. The cherry ice cream was really really good. Lovely soft creamy texture with a very strong cherry flavour. My wife got the gingerbread Biscoff hot chocolate which was also very good. Nice drink with plenty of cream, sauce, biscuits and wafers. After miles of walking we went back to order some food to take away. Avoid this restaurant, it is organized chaos at its best. Upon entering, we waited 5-10 minutes for a table as the staff seemed clueless. We finally sat down and ordered pizzas at the counter. However, we waited for 45 minutes while other tables, who came in after us, received their food. When we inquired about our order, there was confusion among the staff as the system was not sending the orders to the kitchen. If they were aware of the issue, why didn't they check with the kitchen? Why did everyone else receive their food except us? When we asked for a refund, the staff blamed the system, saying it was not their fault. Absolutely fantastic service and fantastic icecream! I visited today (Bank Holiday Monday) and there was a HUGE queue for icecream outside in the street. This is my sons favourite place for icecream but we usually go at quieter times when there aren’t any queues as he is autistic and queuing will usually result in him running away or a meltdown. I went inside and asked politely if he could be served with an icecream as he wouldn’t be able to cope with the enormous queue outside and the manager obliged without question. Excellent customer service and one happy little boy. Definitely visit if you are in Whitley Bay as it is the best icecream in the area!
Birthday treat and no better place to go for pizza and ice cream. Pizza was sizeable and well prepared. Side dishes of fries were enormous giving the whole meal a high value for money rating. Surroundings are Spartan but who cares with quality like this. Just to round it all off the artisan ice cream is to die for, I’m an ice cream buff and I should know. One point guys, too much garlic oil on the speciality fries. Other than that …. Perfect.

I took my grandchildren to this restaurant and they loved the kids' pizza. My wife ordered a large bolognaise pizza and thoroughly enjoyed it. I had the chips, which were very good, and a lovely salad. We are locals and visit this place regularly because it offers great value, friendly staff, delicious food, and a warm atmosphere.
Been here many many times and have always had a great pizza...its our favourite place to go for a pizza and its always reliable ..the staff are always lovely and polite ..its usually busy so making a booking would be advisable...thank you dimeo and we look forward to seeing you all again soon
A must stop place, everyone eats the georgous ice cream but go inside, try the pizza, they do a great lunch deal. The perfect lunch and they don't mind giving you a box to bring home your delicious left overs so you can still have room for some of their icecream
We ordered a pizza and fries to share and were amazed by how cheesy the pizza was. The staff were very friendly and the ice cream we had for dessert was delicious.

Excellent food, the carbonara is very very good. Ice cream to die for. Staff are very attentive, will be back if in the area again
Tasty Black Forest sundae a coffee, what’s not to like? Friendly service a nice clean place 10/10 keep up the good work
