Just left and here's my experience. Got in line with only one guy ahead of me and another 2 customers joined in, but rather than taking our orders so that we could browse around the store, she made us wait to leisurelessly prepare only one guys small order, avoiding eye contact, knowing full and well what she was doing was annoying, finally returns to the register. I ask for brisket fries and she then tells me the fryer is broken. One, I doubt that I'm willing to bet it simply wasn't turned on. Two, it would have been nice to know before having to wait forever for nothing. Good riddance.
I visited this restaurant during lunch and was disappointed by my experience. There was only one employee working, and it took 23 minutes to receive a sandwich and a kids' meal, even with just one customer ahead of me. The roll in the kids' meal was as hard as a rock, and my brisket sandwich came without any BBQ sauce. I do appreciate the single employee who showed up for work, but it's unfortunate that the owner can’t manage staffing during busy hours. I recommend finding another BBQ restaurant down the street instead.
We were ordering from Dickey's Barbecue Pit at least twice a week, as I had just come out of the hospital and was unable to cook much. Initially, the food was good, but the last two orders were inedible. The brisket was burnt (and no, we didn't request burnt ends). One of the orders of fried okra was so salty that it was unappetizing and we ended up throwing it away. They never have the fried onion strings, and both times I paid for extra onions and pickles, but did not receive them.
I took my family out for lunch today and was thoroughly impressed with the service we experienced. The food was bursting with flavor, and the meat was incredibly juicy. I highly recommend giving this place a try. Forget about breakfast and go straight to Dickey's—you won't regret it!

I had lunch here on Friday and enjoyed the brisket sandwich with potato salad, pickles, and onions. The service was quick and friendly. I’ll definitely return the next time I’m in town!
This is an excellent spot for BBQ! I usually go for the ribs, which are absolutely delicious, but honestly, you can’t go wrong with anything you order here!

How are you out of turkey sandwiches. Family wanted turkey sandwiches after church. Made the 15 minute drive and no turkey.
