Similar to another review we can across this place for being open late to grab some food while staying at the hotel Ibis. The hotel suggested another restaurant but even at 9pm that place was packed. So we found Dickworz. It's a neighborhood pub filled with locals. Service was polite but a slight communication issue with English. Beers were cheap and cold. The menu was limited with a few pork steak dishes that we weren't to sure about the cooking methods so we stuck with sandwiches. These things were huge! The bread was literally half a focaccia loaf with salami tomatoes cheese slices and mayo (a little too much mayo for my liking) and it came with a salad for €5,50. We order a portion for f...
that was my first trip to kelsterbach and it is fair to say that first impressions were not great. However, if they spend some time on tripadvisor, they can find some small jewels like this place. we were looking for a few...Berry for the work and had already made plans for dinner elsewhere (at the point of arrival also worth a visit.) we arrived at 17.30 a.m. and were the only customers. we received a warm greeting and took a place on the terrace in the sun. an hour later the place filled and of what we could see it looked very good. the beer was good, the service was great and the bill was low (3.5 euro for 500ml pilger.) honestly you could not ask for more. if they are in one of the nearb...
we went here from the ibis hotel in kelsterbach and had a wonderful meal with great German pilgrim beer. the paprika carving was delicious as the grilled pork, and both were served with an salat and pommes frites. it is a local restaurant/bar and...was actually filled with people from the neighbourhood. I speak well German and spoke all for our group, so I have no idea whether the workers there speak English. everyone was very friendly and we would eat here definitiw again.
Staying for one night at IBIS Hotel and were not impressed with there restaurant options. By chance wandered in to this little pub. Food was excellent and very reasonably priced. Beer was good and service was pleasant. Has the appearance of a sports ba but food was great. Not a huge menu but several pork dishes. A chicken dish and beef steak as well. Out if the way spot but great for folks staying in hotels without a decent restaurant... I would recommend it. Réservez une table maintenant
We were staying at the IBIS hotel and found this local restaurant just a 5 minute walk away. We had two pleasant meals here, one after the flight into Frankfurt and one the night before we flew out. We returned because of the good food and good vibes. You can sit on the patio or inside. The portions are generous. Good salads, excellent meat, nice beer and smiles from the wait staff. Very enjoyable both times.
I don't remember how many years I come to this Restaurant / Pub / Bar, I think nearly from the beginning and I always enjoyed it, even I come alone because Krusti and Andrea always take care of you, always funny and many jokes. So now I am far away but it's a must for me to say hello when I come to Germany. The best Chili Con Carne but not always available.
Good food, home made . Restaurant is a typical German bar. Food range is limited but guess all is something to recommend. Don't forget to taste their Apfelwein. Range of drinks us good. Service is fast , attentive and friendly. Prices are average or below of that. No wifi . Next to the ibis hotel airport Frankfurt. Recommended. Menu prices s bilingual
This is a great neighborhood bar & grill which was within walking distance of our Ibis Hotel. Had a great evening with the locals , a huge serving of food , and draft beer. It has a limited menu but everything was fresh and great. Certainly worth the money for our last night in Germany and convenient to our hotel and the airport. Would recommend.
