The last evening of our annual winter holiday in Cuxland in 2017 had begun, and from the refrigerator in the chic holiday home we jumped out a shiny void. What was closer was to drive the few kilometers to Cuxhaven and sneak fresh fish there again. Since we wanted to conquer the old fishing port, of course this was our first destination. Dropped in for a late lunch before catching a train out. We spent a very pleasant hour or so, in a nice, friendly and colloquial atmosphere. Food was great, herrings tasty and fresh, the crab soup delightful. Interesting location as well. Surely will come back next time I'm in town.
