Die kleine Fischkiste

We were invited for lunch by regular diners of this place, who claimed that the restaurant has the best fish dishes in town. Their claim was not far from truth. I truly enjoyed my choice which was Schollen filets stuffed with smoked salmon and north sea shrimps. The Schollen was fresh and tasty. I didn't even need any salt, pepper or sauce to have it with. The portion size was generous - two big filets, one big slice of smoked salmon, a spoonful of shrimps , accompanied by long grain wild rice (or you can ask for fried potatoes the german way or French fries) and dill sauce. we were on the fishing mile and decided to use this restaurant. it was around 13h, so suitable for lunchtime.We have set ourselves to the local, since all the outside seats were occupied. the service came promptly. the selection on the map was great. there are among others salmon, scholle, limandes, zander etc. there is also a lunch menu. you can choose between salt/brate potatoes (with speck), potato salad or pommes. also the fish is offered in different variants (fried, steamed, panned, natural).After the order it took -despite lunchtime - no 15 minutes and we had our (hot!) meal on the table. the fish was served on fresh vegetables and the portion was more than plentiful.We had once float...

the restaurant is rustic decorated. out there are some tables in front of the house. the view is directed to a parking lot. we sat inside. the service was fast and friendly. I ordered the admiral actor with bratkartoffeln and supplemental salad. the salad was fresh and delicious. the bratkartoffeln super good. the fish was of the finest and rich. sollenfilet, limandesfilet and lachsfilet with calamaris, North Sea crabs and remoulade. rarely had so delicious fish. I can only recommend.

the buffer with plenty of laughs. Buffering chess as they should be, laughs was enough for "good eaters".The fish breakfast is a good alternative, likewise plentiful crumbs beside the (something fat) bratkartoffels. friendly attentive service! our restaurant next cux visit! good value for money. fish sale in the front, that was our dinner! suuuper fresh! we were here in the evening, at a table in the outside area. operation came immediately, a bit in the map showed a large selection of fish species. the prices seemed somewhat higher than in the surrounding restaurants, but after eating came the (to) large portions made up everything.Very fresh fish, attentive staff!

spontaneously here. in the midday it was rugged, many reserved tables. the food tasted only moderately. the scholle was not long enough in the pan and hardly ever seasoned. bratkartoffeln were okay. the service ran fast, but emotionless.

unfortunately we cannot recommend this fish restaurant, there are significantly better fish restaurants here in cuxhaven. compare to the example of luisas fischertreff significantly worse quality

we were 6 adults and 2 children. the playcke arrived at the two well.We were kindly served, the various fish dishes were extremely good. we look forward to the next time.
