we had booked the menuekarussell, as we have not been at d’s for ever. it consisted of 2 appetizers, main course, dessert as well as accompanying weine/biere along with water. the spears were of excellent quality, imaginatively combined and dressed (Garnelen-Frikandel and pak choi, the hammer). also the johann albrecht craftbier is a dense. the service team is very attentive, humorous and you will notice the joy of their work. We thought. the name Dieckmann ́s has always stood for us for a well maintained and high-quality house. therefore we were all the more surprised, which the house seems to care for (or were it just embarrassing guests). at the time of the arrival, you were very noticeable. not only that you put the feet on the seat where other guests want to sit again. no, you also bring your own champagne bottle and put it under the table. herr orwaldi was greeted loudly and you felt also called to pell others afterwards. obviously, it is not only a matter of happiness, but an absolute foreign word. At any rate, this has very alienated us, as we have experienced something like this for the first time. so far...
even though the whole ruhr area is much greener and more lush than you think, you will find yourself in the Dieckmann`s a bit more green. old majestic trees that donate shadows, fragrant, marvelous summer flowers form the scenes of the beer garden and frame the terrace on which you can sit comfortably in the lukewarm summer night. tasty eating, a well-kept drink card, cozy interiors and the magnificent garden - all these are attributes that make this place a contrasting program city an inviting oasis. this place simply contributes to recovery.
the restaurant was very well visited on a Monday evening, correspondingly high was the noise level. that was the only drop of humility. that was made up, not only looked good, it also tasted excellent. we were there with 13 people, have eaten a la cart and were served almost at the same time. have rarely eaten better in theremund and the staff was very friendly. we're coming back. we stayed in late summer for lunch at dieckmann’s . on the day we could still sit outside on the terrace. is as nice as possible, only one has to consider that the traffic on the weather can be quite violent. when you sit in the shadow of the building it is possible. eating was solid, the presentation appealing. the service okay where we feel still air up there in the view.
we were now in dieckmanns for the sixth time and I must say that we have never been disappointed. the quality of the food corresponds absolutely to the price-performance ratio. the foods are varied, trendy and qualitatiw good. what I have noticed so far: no matter which waiter has served us, the service is top! (I had already worse in star restaurants). so always happy!
we were four, service was attentive and top. the menu is rather exceptional and untypical for a German traditional house: you find Arabic, Asian and German dishes. the card is small but very fine. we chose the delicious beer, the wine selection in the entrance looks very tempting. good atmosphere, excellent quality! top!
a nice local where you can go well.
