I like Deli meat, but avoid this area in this store, because it is always an rude person behind the counter. I had a chance and went back there anyway. There was an older black lady, light brown complexion, short gray hair, with glass back. I asked for baked chicken breast. She always showed me fried. I absolutely love Dierberg's! The checkout staff at all their locations near us are incredibly friendly, even the ones who do the bagging during busy times. We can always find what we need at Dierberg's, and if we can't, there’s always a manager on hand who is eager to assist. We refuse to shop at Schnuck's, their competitor. Schnuck's used to claim to be the friendliest store in town, but that was clearly a joke. They don't even use that slogan anymore for a good reason—their employees are the most unfriendly we’ve encountered! Every time I visit Dierbergs Bakery, I'm treated to absolutely delicious and indulgent baked goods! I've never had a negative experience there; their cupcakes are incredibly tasty, and they offer a fantastic variety of flavors!
the young woman who works behind the counter with pink hair and nase piercings must lose the posture. she had made me dinner and put the wrong price on it, asked to change it and she refused. it needed a manager.

The staff is friendly, and I've never had any trouble finding what I need. The only downside is that there are often only a few cash registers open, even during peak times or the holiday season.
I usually go to other dierbergs. a few days in the week I work near this and have to leave. the load is clean and well stored, but there is never enough scum. much worse than other dierbergs.
If you're gonna advertise that you have items for sale in your meat department you should be prepared to make those items and not be a pain in the butt.
