My husband had made reservations in advance for Mother's Day. The place entered from the entrance near Nordstrom of Westfield mall and also next to Uniqlo. There is always a line in front of the restaurant, so if you don't want to wait then make a reservation. If you go to the line of the people who made a reservation, the store staff will guide you. *If you go too early, you will have to wait, so go 5 minutes early. The restaurant was mostly packed with customers. And it's pretty noisy but service was a very good. My husband was here for the first time so asked the staff for recommendations. The staff quickly marked the popular menu items, which was helpful. First, we ordered a pot of warm oolong tea. After that we ordered braised beef noodle soup, Kurobuta pork xlb (10pcs), shrimp and kurobuta pork dumplings (10pcs), vegan spicy wontons (8pcs). Kurobuta pork XLB and vegan spicy wontons were the tastiest and braised beef noodle was a good noodle. However, the steamed XLB and wontons were quickly cooled down and became hard, so I had to take half home and steam it again. So please try to eat it while it is still warm. We will come again and try other meals.

Had the absolute best time and service in this Din Tai Fung branch. Maybe because the walnut creek branch set the bar too low with their insane 1-2 hours waiting time and the crazy queueing up just to get a reservation going. In this branch, we were quickly seated right, served water, and given the time to decide on our orders. They even asked us if it was our first time to which we responded it wasn’t cause they were willing to talk about the xiao long bao how to’s. The shrimp and pork dumplings are basically mixed so if you have pork restrictions best to order a different thing from their menu. This was one of our concerns when we placed our order as my companion couldn’t. The shrimp fried rice was a good option and the cucumber salad was definitely a hit! But the most important of all is the chocolate xiao long bao. You simply cannot go to Din Tai Fung and not have it. Staff were very friendly and accommodating, overall would recommend to friends and would probably go back here when in Seattle area.

Our first time- We ordered 7 dishes and rated each on a scale of 1-5. Overall, we gave an average score of 3.1- the condiments definitely contributed to that score- because the seasoning was subpar. There was a hype surrounding this restaurant, especially since the first time around we didn 't get in due to its full capacity. So naturally, we were excited to finally dine here since it 's inception... And honestly, our favorite dish was the, String Beans. ... however, I did get a boba milk tea and my husband enjoyed 2 Sea Salt Cream Top black teas. If you don 't like spice or flavor, you may enjoy this place immensely. You have the option of soy, vinegar, and chili oil w/spiced ginger as a dipping sauce.

The food were heavenly delicious and very fresh. The servers were very quick and friendly, courteous. The food, drinks, wine lists were exceptional. My daughter even had several things to go for my hubby and her fiancé. She was just here with her for birthday celebration last Tuesday. This was our nt time eating at this place and will definitely go back over and over again. The staff here are awesome! Andrew the bartender is a great guy. The food is fresh and clean and even though I'm not a vegan, the egg and mushroom fried rice are to die for. That had me considering slowly become a vegan just because of that one dish. I will definitely be back.
