I really enjoy dining at Dino's The Greek Place! The food is excellent, particularly the fries, which are made fresh with every order. However, I've noticed some inconsistency when ordering. The menu indicates that the plates include veggies, rice, and your choice of meat, but every time I've ordered (several times), the veggies are missing. I always have to ask for extra veggies to be added to my plate. It would be helpful if Dino's updated their menu to make this clearer.
I have been wanting to try this place for many many years and just never got around to it after events at the fair grounds. Finally got around to trying it and splurged on some different menu items. Everything was just mediocre and nothing wowed me. I got a speciality gyro, some bite things and something else I can't even remember now... As far as Greek fast food goes, it is pretty standard. The gyro is nothing to brag about. The dining area is clean, but a slightly sticky tabletop meant they are not cleaned properly. The service was friendly and willing to answer questions. They had desserts and other items available, but not listed on the menu board. I like to start with some pitas and hummus, but it is not on the menu. They do sell flatbread and hummus as a takeout but I had to ask about it. The
Tasty Greek food with friendly service and a clean environment. Food I ordered a grilled chicken Gyro with fries and a drink. The chicken was lightly seasoned and had a good portion of meat. The combination of sauce and veggies was perfect. Topped off with shredded feta cheese The fries were seasoned with a herb seasoning and one of the employees told me some of their customers use it for grilling steak. Overall, a delicious meal! It's been some time since my last visit to Dino's The Greek Place, and I'm unsure when they changed the menu, plating, and drink containers. I’m not a fan of the new drink containers or plates; I definitely preferred the baskets they used to use. That said, the food remains tasty, although the gyros seem smaller than I recall.
