I really enjoyed the food here; it was truly delicious. The portions are quite large, so if you're hungry and in the mood for some great Mediterranean cuisine, this is the place to go. I especially loved their veggie bowl, which can be customized in any style from their menu, and they also provide generous servings for the side dishes. The dessert we tried was a delightful mishmash of baklava served with ice cream, and it was delicious. I also really liked the cauliflower appetizer. I will definitely be returning to this restaurant!
While they offer sauces to enhance the dishes, we found the flavors to be so well-balanced that we enjoyed them just as they were served. One minor note is that I’m not very familiar with the names of the dishes, so having photos on the menu would have made ordering easier. Everything we had was delicious! This is an ideal spot for work lunches or to gather with larger groups after hours. The restaurant also features a bar and various seating areas, which might be suitable for hosting events.
Food portion size for the price was very good. I ordered the chicken, which tasted pretty good but was a bit dry. Also ordered a side of chicken wings, which were excellent. 4/5 Price $16 for a big plate of chicken schwarma and falafel with fries was good value. Chicken wings were pretty pricey at $10. 4/5 Venue nice place. Little hot inside, I don't think the AC could keep up with the outdoor heat. 4/5 Service not much to speak of, but people seemed nice. 5/5
I haven't been here is many moons and it is just as good as I remember. The flavors are delicious and the order system is even better than before. I remember it as a restaurant with a waiter but it changed to a casual vibe where you order at the counter. We got chicken. Hummus. Some fries. Some rice. Eggplant. A little of everything. Great to see the move for them was a big improvement. Now everything can be enclosed for large parties. Food is excellent as usual. Had their chicken kebab. Tender and very flavorful. Entrees under $20. Plenty of room, family friendly and business friendly. Plenty of parking. Open and airy with a lovers fireplace pit for that special person or family. Highly recommended!
The food was amazing, fresh and tasty. New spacious location. You order at the counter and sit wherever you want. Great place for a meet-up; it wasn't crowded, and we stayed a couple of hours with nobody rushing us to leave. The vegetarian plate was just delicious, and the mint lemonade was very good too. I wish they would open a location in the Peninsula!
It was my first experience to try Mediterranean food. I was quite skeptical since I am vegetarian, we ordered Falafel Salad cooked in Indian Spicy Sauce and hummus on sides. It was so fresh and tasty that I can't even imagine. Would love to visit this place again and again. Must try to all in case you haven't been here.
The food was fantastic, and the grilled shawarma was simply amazing. I have no complaints about the baklava crumble either—I absolutely loved it! The green sauce had a nice spicy and tangy kick. The restaurant used to be called On the Border, but they've updated the decor. However, it could really use better lighting. Réservez une table maintenant
I was so impressed with there location in San Jose and tried the location in Milpitas. Again I was in Awe! Same outstanding food, juices and service. The man that helped was very helpful and patient. I have been to so many restaurants, but I have to say this is one of the best restaurants.
