Dixie's Home Cookin'

We just finished our first visit to Dixie. I expected a Sunday morning, but we beat the crowd and sat right away. Every employee we met was kind. Every item in the breakfast menu sounds so good!! I've got the chicken steak, haash brown and rye toast. All right. My husband has the Mom's Sampler (Biscuits, Gravy, Sausage, Speck and Potatoes). He has the father's potatoes. Because they are deep fried, they were a bit fat, but I think that's something expected. My shredded hash browns were perfect. We had a very fast service:: Sit at 9:45 and set the door at 10:35, which is amazing for a Sunday morning! Our server, Becky was great. We're filled! We will definitely come back!

Dixies is our family weekend breakfast place. We love food, atmosphere and people. It is a perfect little place, with wonderful food.
