I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant! Anthony, the manager, is truly exceptional—what a gentleman! There was a long line of hungry patrons eagerly waiting to get in, and he wisely came out with a tray of cold water for everyone. My lobster roll was fantastic—it looked just like the picture! The staff was not only friendly but also very accommodating, and everything was done with a great sense of humor. The food was delicious, which reflects the quality of the management. Anthony, you deserve big kudos for a job well done—definitely a thumbs up from me!
Fantastic service, super friendly from welcome when you go to the door to farewell and see how your visit was. I had the lobster Bisque, which was great and the lobster roll Hot, which was nothing short spectacular! It is a must if you have never been and a must go back when you have been. Atmosphere is also great! Relaxed and a great mood! I look forward to trying the LR cold the next time.
We absolutely adore DJs Clam Shack! Our young daughter can’t get enough of their cold lobster roll and fries. Both the hot and cold lobster rolls are equally delicious, and the New England clam chowder takes me back to ski trips in Maine. It’s a fantastic addition to Wantagh, and the staff is excellent as well!
The clam chowder was good, though a bit on the salty side for my taste. I'm not really a fan of the baked clams, but that's just a personal preference regarding the seasoning. I would definitely order again, as the menu has a great variety of options to choose from.

For the first time there was the hot lobster roll with perfectly roasted roll on!!! Offers lobster/claw meat with drizzle of butter coleslaw not soggy with excess liquid and the frits were not soggy I can not wait to go back and forth to work my way down the menu!!!
Just as excellent as the original in Key West. The lobster roll is spot on, served generously with just the right amount of dressing on a soft, buttery bun. The fries are freshly fried and delicious. I also tried a bit of the crab cake, which was delightful.
Everything was great! The lobster bisque was outstanding. The clams were slightly overcooked, and the baked clams were just okay. Personally, I prefer whole baked clams served with oil and bread for dipping. I will definitely continue to order from them.
Today with some friends and their children and everyone loved it. Great place great food the best service. Little place, but the food is great. Enjoy
