I have dined at this restaurant in the past, and it offers a generous amount of food for a reasonable price. The location has been around for a while and is situated in an old strip mall that could use some updates. The restaurant provides tables, chairs, and booths, but it can get crowded during busy times. The interior is outdated and could definitely use a renovation to make it feel cleaner and more inviting. I want to start by saying that I agree with the previous reviewer about the guy taking orders sounding like a radio host. As for the restaurant itself, if you're looking for a greasy spoon spot that has a Chicago vibe but is located in the suburbs, this is the place to go. The food, particularly the gyro and polish dishes, is excellent and they give you generous portions, especially when it comes to the fries. As a fries enthusiast, I was extremely satisfied. The staff behind the counter deserve kudos for being so polite. I will definitely be returning to try more of their offerings.
Service was good misspoke when ordering hot dogs, but they were fixed quickly and they didn't make me pay extra. Wasn't too busy when I got there, so from when I started my order to getting my food was about 4 minutes. The food itself was alright, but I'm a big fan of the fact that they have RC cola, which has been getting less common. Some of the tables were a bit messy, and I wish they didn't have to have gambling available there, but it's what it is at this point. Probably wouldn't have cared at all about it if I was ordering the food for carryout.
The name says it all. it’s not a great experience nor good tasting food. It’s cheap, fast and should be considered if you just need to eat something and not worry about quality. The environment is not so great either. Pretty run down and haphazard seating environment with also casino games that patrons can play.
