We were looking for a break in our day of sightseeing in Wittenberg and found this place. It was just what we were looking for. I wanted some Italian type ice cream and my wife was looking for some strudel. We found then here. We found the service to be good and the prices reasonable. We sat outside and enjoyed the food and the rest form our walking about. It is on Collegienstr just down from the Markt and near the City Church and the stores around there.
we came in just for dessert, and we were not disappointed! There are several different menus--a crepe menu, an ice cream menu, a waffle menu, etc. There are some very strange looking things, but every single thing we had was delicious. One person even got something where the ice cream was pressed to look like a mountain of spaghetti.I can't comment on anything other than sweets, but when it came to dessert they did it right.
We stopped here for ice cream, tea and a toastie. Staff speak little English so it was hard to communicate questions. One of the confusing parts of the restaurant was each table had 5 different menus. Not sure why, it just took up lots of space. The food hit the spot without being memorable.
We were doing some shopping in Wittenberg and decided we needed to sit down and get some coffee. This place is small and there is inside and outside seating. We had apple strudel which was good. Outdoor seating, good service to your table after you place your order. Ice cream sundaes and other creations are pictured in a colorful menu. My wife picked the hazelnut sundae while I went with a strawberry one. Real whipped cream! On a hot day, these treats will cool you down!
Familiar with Italian run ice cream places in Germany? Dolce Vita is more of the same, and they are doing a good job at it. Carry out or eat in, an incredible variety of flavors and toppings. Great Espresso, Cappucino etc. on top. Recommended.
Only coffee and cake, but both were excellent. The service was friendly and efficient, and the prices were good. Many locals here soaking up the sunshine. Good location for a break after visiting Martin Luther's house or shopping.
A nice Italian ice-cream parlour and café. The staff are very kind and polite, my strudel was really good and the cappuccino was very creamy! Congrats! Réservez une table maintenant
