Big Breakfast disaster. I just had a Big Breakfast at the Oxford Street Dome cafe in Leederville. It was a big mistake and I still feel queasy. The meal consisted of eggs, sausages, bacon, mushrooms, a hash brown, cooked tomato and toast. I love this naughty but tasty breakfast and I have it at least once a month at different cafes The sausages were old and of poor quality reheated I suspect. The tomato was seared on the cut face but still cold and uncooked in the center. The toast was of a poor quality white bread and was not properly browned. Dome Do me? Ok then. A friend and I dined here yesterday and I am surprised to see that it has such a low percentage on Urbanspoon. Whenever I've driven past, it's always busy and yesterday was no exception at lunchtime. I have to admit, I'm not a massive fan of Dome overall. When given the opportunity to dine at a coffee place, I'd much rather a non chain restaurant but Leederville doesn't really cater for prams so Dome it was. The menu selection is quite broad ranging from wraps to burger to larger meals like curries with a selection of desserts on offer in the window. after a beautiful dawn service for anzac day. dome leedervile was our next choice to breakfast. a bad choice. the meals were very bad and not up to the standard we expect from dome. we order 5 meals the eggs on all 5 meals were cooked and gummy. the toast was totally filthy. the beans on the large breakfast saw and melt over microshaft to the point of dry cooking. the coffee was cold and spit in the sauces. the restaurant was not busy, but the waitress looked tense and not happy to be there. she should have stayed in bed better. all that dome leedervile misses. we will definitely see another chain to get too often from now on. that has not been...more
This DOME is opposite the LUNA theatre .. excellent for before or after a movie The staff are friendly , efficient well-experienced in taking your order thanks to the training of international manager : HEMANTA ; sooo professional !! The coffees are just right the tea served brewed ! something very good must be happening in the kitchen .. ! breakfast menu or snacks ; cakes all well presented fresh with a smile Of course , variety of magazines daily newspapers very comfortable furniture . Closes ar 7 pm on a Saturday!!!!!. Good coffee and cake but really closing at this time is crazy, I went in about 6.50 pm with a group of 11 people and we were hurried up as they wanted to lock up, why would anybody in their right mind ask customers to leave at that time on a Saturday night, not good for business and they have lost my vote.
