The best thing going for this Dome is its location. Lovely place to sit and watch the world go by. Unfortunately I have been here twice in the last 4 months and both times disappointed. I've found the portions smaller than other Domes which is interesting as I believe as a franchise all portions are supposed to be measured. The wait times are shocking, people were queuing to the door yet only one till was operating with a staff member lacking a basic grasp of English (had to explain multiple times what a pot of tea was just to get one). 5 of us went to this restaurant for a birthday lunch. We ordered our meal and wine. Money was paid up front.The waitress came back and stated that there was no white wine. We queried this many times thinking she must be mistaken. We showed her the drinks menu and pointed to many of the different white wines including the sparkling range. Still advised absolutely no white wine. My husband went to the counter and had a chat with another staff member. They reached in the fridge and brought out a sparkling wine. This Café is set on the banks of the Swan, out over the water – a delightful setting. There is some car parking, and plenty of seating, both inside, and out on the deck. We come for coffee and cake, and find a good range of interesting cake. We enjoy our wildberry loaf, and the drinks that come with it. The service is prompt and friendly, and the conveniences smart. There are two shelves of library books which I find a little puzzling: the guy at the counter says he is happy for me to take one home on loan – until I tell him I live in Adelaide! I would definitely come here again.
Awesome Dome Cafe, with an amazing view. Friendly staff, with a warm atmosphere. Very vegetarian friendly! I also love how easy it is to swap parts of a meal for something else (swap mushrooms on the Vege breakfast for another egg).I come down every Sunday with my Family from Roleystone, thats how highly I would Recommend this Dome.Will definitely be back for more!

Dome is one of our go to places for brekkie and lunch so we thought we would bring our overseas visitors here. The great thing with Dome is that the menu is rock solid and you always know the food is going to be quality and value for money. Would definitely recommend to others!
We often have brunch here at weekends. You get the usual Dome offerings but the service staff do a good job of dealing with the busy weekend crowds. When the weather is favourable it's delightful out on the deck. Kind to the budget. Family favourite.
We wanted a no hassle easy parking coffee and we got it. While it's difficult to get a coffee at 7pm at night it was a great relief to find the Dome open. Not fancy but we all already know that of the Dome.
Went here for lunch on a Wednesday and it was just excellent. Great choice of food and the very best staff. Good decking area outside overlooking the Swan River which was great to sit outside.

For a place that boasts that they have "World's Finest Coffee" I would expect more.
