I had the brisket sandwich, and my wife had the iceberg wedge.I had the brisket at the suggestion of the cashier/waitress, and I was not disappointed. I can't remember eating a more tender brisket anywhere. I usually shy away from brisket when I eat out because it's usually tough, not very tender. I'm so glad I tried it.My wife had the iceberg wedge. It did not look like your typical wedge salad. This thing was like a boat of flavorful toppings. Bleu cheese crumbles, bacon bits, even the cherry tomatoes on it were good.I definitely recommend traveling here to eat, even if it's out of your way.
I chowed down on the Bacon Jam burger. That's your classic burg like you'd make at home on the grill. American cheese, shredded lettuce, pickle, tomato, a house spread. I upgraded my side from fries to potato salad. I added a side of bacon mac and cheese, as well.Don't skip on dessert. I enjoyed the banana pudding! Every last bite. Parking: Plenty of parking in the back lot or on the street in the cute little La Puente old town.
Food is delicious but could get a little pricey, especially with the amount of craft brew I drink. The staff is extremely friendly and are ready to help you out on your tasty BBQ quest. I wish I could make Domestic my domestic dwelling, BBQ is taaaaaasty! Menu or chef (or both) have changed from a few years back. The hot chicken Sammy was insanely greasy, and oil kept oozing out nonstop. I ended up taking off all of the fried breaded part but still could only eat half as the oil had already drenched the bun. The fries were good, chipotle wings were good, pulled pork Sammy was good. Amazing beer Selection.
Took my nephew for dinner. He had the pull pork Sammy. He said it was delicious ?. I tried the tri tip Sammy, and it was very tasty and tender. The tater tots were ok, just a little over cooked for my taste. My nephew said they were good. The staff is really friendly.
