we have been regularly going to the Domo for almost seven years.The domo is a family-run company of a Korean family, who welcome and serve every time extremely friendly.The domo is centrally located in the mainzer city in a quieter street. the atmosphere we have always felt as discreet, but pleasant. everywhere are small cultural hints on japan and Korea.The eating tastes great, be it maki, be it sashimi, be it Korean noodles etc. I love especially the excellent Miso soup. and this at a very good price!Full recommended, for years our mainz restaurant.

This place is a Korean and Japanese place but do only eat their Korean food as the owners are Korean themselves. Their Korean food tastes really good and the Kimchi was very nice. If you want a break from European food, this is the place to go!

Ich verstehe die positiven Rezensionen nicht, vielleicht habe ich das Falsche bestellt. Mir wurde jedenfalls als Jeyukbokkum in Austersauce ertränktes Schwein mit Gemüsepaprika serviert. Koreanisch war das nicht.
Authentisch und schmackhaft ohne Geschmacksverstärker. Man fühlt sich ehrlich wie bei der Muttersküche. Abends wird das Restaurant sehr schnell voll, also lieber reservieren oder früh genug dasein.
