Don Bert's Custard Stand

I've been a customer since childhood, and I've always found the food to be consistently decent. However, I was a bit disappointed during my last visit. The cheese fries, which are one of their signature items, lacked cheese. It used to come with a scoop of fries, followed by cheese, another scoop, and then more cheese on top. This time, the middle cheese was completely missing. Also, the prices are pretty steep. Overall, the food is good, but honestly, you could make something just as good at home for a fraction of the cost.

I typically don't have any issues at this restaurant, but tonight was the worst experience we've ever encountered, and they've lost us as customers. We ordered four ice creams: two small chocolates with sprinkles and two flurries, totaling $27. The flurries were only half full, and one of them didn’t have any toppings at all! It wasn't worth the drive back to have them fix it once we realized. It's disappointing because we used to enjoy coming here.

The prices are outrageous! 7.50 for cheese fries!! not to mention you cannot use your debit card here... They have an ATM, that charges you almost 3$ to get cash, and that's not counting what your bank will charge! Basically 5$ extra on what you spend!! Will not go again.. Too pricey!!

We took our kids for ice cream after church, and we had a wonderful experience. The staff were extremely friendly and patient, and the ice cream cones were quite large! Everyone enjoyed the flavors they chose. We will definitely be coming back for more! Réservez une table maintenant

Believe it or not,My daughter asked me if I ever ate breakfast at Don&Bert's my answer was NO!¡!!Well I ordered 2 scrapple egg&chess sandwiches I Wanted 3 more ? I definitely would order breakfast again.

We arrived as a large group after winning a softball game, and the staff was fantastic! They efficiently served everyone quickly and accurately.

A beautiful part of Paulsboro's history ... and their custard is still among the best South Jersey has to offer!!! I highly recommend them! Réservez une table maintenant

The store hours are not great. Whenever I crave ice cream, I have to drive 20 minutes to Dippy's because this place closes at 9 PM.

Wife I stopped for flurries. They were great. Smooth ice cream plenty of candy chunks.
