there are not many tapas bars in hiedelberg and I can understand why this can be for some attractions. the atmosphere of don is welcoming and pleasant and the wine is very good. this is both a place to go in and to stay - it has a local inviting atmosphere. all this is good so far, but what was a great disappointment were the tapas. the menu is quite extensive and has finished the usual selection of traditional Spanish tapas and we ordered patatas braves - so why did we finish with sauted kartomas with mayonnaisejamon iberica - that was more like local German ham and there were no signs that this side was very close in the cook I don't think that this seemed to be a Germanized version of Spa...
we have pushed onto this beautiful restaurant on the outskirts of heidelberg and we have enjoyed it so well that we have come back the next night! we were housed in the nearby marriott and did not want to eat in the hotel. this restaurant was about 7-8 minutes to walk. the manager and the staff were very friendly, the tapas were fantastic, the selection of Spanish weeping was wonderful. highly recommended! they were also very good with our son (3 years old), who is somewhat picky, but his eating loved!
this is a restaurant in Spanish style, but be careful when they pay the bill, as they assume that they want to leave a very high drink money because they don't give them any change money / and then it looks mean and feels embarrassing to ask for the change money. service slow - what made this even more annoying.
Ich liebe Tapas und freue mich jedes Mal auf den Besuch bei Don Robert. Super lecker sind die warmen Chorizo. Selten so leckere gegessen. Im Sommer kann man nett draußen sitzen. Die Parkplatzsituation ist suboptimal. Jedoch ist der ÖPNV gut zu Fuß gelegen. Das ist auch wegen dem tollen Wein eine gute Idee.

Sehr nettes Personal und schönes Ambienter. Die Tapas sind ganz OK, wenn auch alles sehr „aiolilastig“ ist. Preis-Leistung stimmen aber nicht überein… es ist für die durchschnittliche Qualität einfach zu teuer …

Tolles Essen, toller Service Der eine Stern Abzug weil man weder mit Kreditkarte noch Debutkarte bezahlen kann Es geht nur EC Karte und Bargeld... Das ist nicht mehr zeitgemäß
Wir haben 2 Tapas (Chorizo und Calamari) und dann Paella mit Fleisch und Fisch bestellt. War alles sehr lecker
