Doña Lechona - Réservation de table

The food here is excellent! They have a great variety of typical Colombian food, but really the standout dish here is all in the name, Lechona! First of all, I am not sure you can come across many places that serve lechona in Medellin as it is a dish more commonly associated with the Tolima department of Colombia. Secondly, this is what they specialize and it is delicious! The rice and meat are flavorful and the skin is crispy and crunchy, a very unique and tasty find. The place also just got an upgrade and is more spacious and modernized than before. Definitely worth venturing out to if you are in Medellin. PS – also try the ceviche de chicharron if you get a chance!

Lechona is a full roasted pig stuffed with Rice and vegetables. It is served with Crackling and a potatoe. Although this restaurant is not top range, it had a great lechona. This is a little off the beat for tourists, but work the trek if you want to try typical food.

We love it is little greasy but fantastic the pork skin is great and the mix inside the best of the best, we did not eat inside we purchased to go. Very good quality

Best restaurant to eat Lechona , mondongo and ajiaco. Great atmosphere and outstanding service . You can not go wrong with any of dishes, also try bandeja paisa Réservez une table maintenant
